This refractometer measures freeze points in ethylene and propylene glycol systems. Charts are available to convert the freeze point to glycol percent. Great for field use.
(3) The Calcium Chloride Salimeter measures the freeze point of a CaCl2 brine system. The Sodium Chloride Salimeter is used in softener elution studies (SES). Procedure for SES and chart to convert CaCl2 freeze point to percent brine are available upon request.
(5) The 25 mL plastic sample tube is ideal for field drop tests and is included in K- series test kits. It is calibrated for 5, 10, 12.5 and 25 mL increments. The larger 50 mL sample tube is useful for dilutions and sample measurement with 5 mL increment markings between 10 and 50 mL.
